I did the switch from Koodo to Public Mobile over the weekend. Saved myself $27 / month, and the minutes and data are Canada, US, and Mexico which is nice, and now I have 5G (which doesn't seem much different tbh

)
But was the process ever slick with the eSim option. I was still old school physical Sim card.
- Said I wanted to transfer my number on the Public Mobile side. Provided my Koodo account number when prompted.
- Few minutes later I get a text from Koodo saying a request has been made to transfer my number and close my account, did you want this yes or no.
- Answer yes and a few minutes after that everything was done.
Public Mobile instructions said transfer could take up to 5 hrs, but I was done the whole process in under 10 min I would say. Pretty seamless. I was impressed.
