My only issue with Public Mobile (I rage quit when they retroactively changed their loyalty bonuses, but that was not a reflection of the value of plans they currently offer) and the other third tier flanker brands (my better half uses PC Mobile) is the lack of Wifi-Calling. I have crap cell reception in my basement so wifi calling is an absolute must for me.

Yes, I know you mentioned that before. I've never even turned the option on. So far, cell signal is okay throughout our house, even though I have concrete overpour on all floors 🤷‍♂️

I did the switch from Koodo to Public Mobile over the weekend. Saved myself $27 / month, and the minutes and data are Canada, US, and Mexico which is nice, and now I have 5G (which doesn't seem much different tbh :) )

But was the process ever slick with the eSim option. I was still old school physical Sim card.

- Said I wanted to transfer my number on the Public Mobile side. Provided my Koodo account number when prompted.
- Few minutes later I get a text from Koodo saying a request has been made to transfer my number and close my account, did you want this yes or no.
- Answer yes and a few minutes after that everything was done.

Public Mobile instructions said transfer could take up to 5 hrs, but I was done the whole process in under 10 min I would say. Pretty seamless. I was impressed.
Perhaps cause its all under the Telus umbrella, but similar experience. I went Koodo to Telus EPP ($35 for 60GB of 5G+, unlimited but throttled after) and did the eSIM on my Pixel 9 Pro. Within about a minute of completing checkout, got a notification on my phone saying the eSIM was ready to activate. Clicked that and it was done. Created my Telus account, started number transfer, got the text, said YES, and probably another minute and the eSIM was now showing my number.

Telus isn't hard-capped at 250Mbps, but that's really the only difference I've noticed. Service quality doesn't seem any better even though people claim the "lesser" brands get de-prioritized. Still times where things sort of stall or don't load. Signal is a bit spotty at home thus I wanted to keep the WiFi calling aspect too.

Moving around between Koodo - Public Mobile - and Telus all seems a bit funny to me. But if it saves me money...

I seem to get better signal in low signal areas on Public Mobile compared to what I was getting with Koodo. They'd both be lesser but PM is better in a few specific places where I had little to no signal with Koodo.

Lian li Vision mid tower and Lian Li Hydroshift 360R. (ha good thing I reread... almost left the 'f' out of shift)

Was just going to get the am5 plate for my nzxt for $6, but they want $72 USD to ship it. Figured I'd go with a new. I wasn't going to replace my Lian Li evo dynamic, but when I saw the Vision I had to have it. Now that I've watched a couple build videos I'm excited to put this together.

Ran to edmonton last night to pickup the case and aio, case was supposed to be $139.99 after the $50 sale, but I still got another $50 off. $89.99... that's a pretty darn good price.

The roads on the way back though... yeesh... the snow was coming down so hard it look like when the Millenium falcon goes into hyper drive.

Very Nice Card, hopefully you actually play some quality games on this PC now. And you know, not Minecraft at 2800FPS.

I don't play First Person Shooters, but my A/RPGs can make use of the extra horsepower. :)

It still remains to be seen if they intend to fulfill the order. It's confirmed, but the site no longer shows availability so who knows if I actually managed to snag it while they had stock.

ASUS TUF Gaming Radeon™ RX 7900 XTX OC Edition

Assuming this order gets fulfilled, I'll have my dream PC completed before the end of the month. (Merry Christmas to me :) ).
you know the definition of insanity is trying the same thing again and again and again and expecting a different result every time...right? :ROFLMAO:
