Whats your latest purchase?

Installed and appears to be working as advertised.

So....... with games getting so large, is 2TB now the standard for any laptop/PC intended for gaming? 4TB might still be a bit on the pricey side, but (IMO) 2TB feels like it's at a reasonable price point.
I went from 500+1TB to 1TB+4TB and still well over 50% full. (got the 4TB a while ago while prices were low just before they spiked)

I went with 4TB SSDs in the builds I just did for family. If the budget supports it I'd go 4TB but yeah, 2TB would be my minimum comfortable option these days.

Twice a year (once in the spring when I stop using the furnace as often) and once right about now (when I start using the furnace again) I try to quickly do the carpets. 2 kids, 2 dogs, carpet still in most of the house. Keep it generally pretty clean but dust and everything else overtime does accumulate.

Well carpet cleaner not working properly anymore leaving the floor quite wet and the dial to select how much solution was being mixed with the water is now broken too, but CT did have one on sale, a XL model is also on sale but more expensive.

Honestly not as nice as the one it is replacing but it actually works properly.

We have that one you ended up with. Definitely agree that its not the most quality unit persay but it does do the job well.

For my own personal use... Soundcore Anker Liberty 4 Noise Cancelling buds.

At $80 I'm actually really impressed with these. I had to spend some time tweaking the EQ in the Soundcore app, but they sound great for wireless buds. They won't compete with wired, audiophile earbuds; but for Spotify and Google Music listening on a phone while working out, they're pretty excellent. They also stay in my ears really well, and the battery life is INSANE. I can see them coming close to the 50 hour claim in optimal conditions.

Somewhat relatedly, the galaxy buds 2 I bought with my S23 ultra have turned out to have impressively good noise cancellation. Enough so that I'll keep them in during flights (or mowing) even if I don't have music or an audiobook playing simply because I like the quiet.

Downside is they and the samsung ring basically have locked me into the galaxy ecosystem. Was considering trying iPhone, but the ludicrous cost of iPhones coupled with the need for new earbuds and a track meant that it's not a worthwhile expense anymore.

I hope you have better experience with your P4s than I did with my P3s. I do not like them. They are so buggy. 90% of the time I put them in my ears, one will power down. Removing one from ear does pause. But most of the time they don't resume when reinserted in to ear.

Getting them to actually charge is a straight hassle. They make terrible contact in the case. I've had to add ton of aluminum tape in the case to help them make contact. Sometimes one will stop making contact, reconnect to my phone. So I get no notifations as the damn sounds are going to earphone. And it will stay connected until it dies.or until I notice.

Nice!

That's unfortunate. My kids have both had soundcore earbuds for probably 3 years without issue (I think they are P2, but I would have to double check), soundcore flare 2 speakers for around 3 years, and my wife has a different set of soundcore earbuds for a year or so (again I would have to check the model)...all have (knock on wood) been flawless.
