here's the Marbles MR700DB. one blade is wedged for chopping wood and the other is thinner for splitting kindling and carving.

the blades are blanks, where they're sharpened, but still need handles / scales installed.

here's the Nessmuk and Nessmuk Mini...the Nessmuk has a 4.53" blade while the Mini has 3.15" blade.

and here's the Kephart, which has a 5" blade.

all three are made of 80CrV2 carbon steel with an HC of 58 - 60.

Nessmuk is the pen name of George Washington Sears, who wrote Woodcraft & Camping, published back in 1887 and is considered the father of bushcraft. Horace Kephart also became a famous woodsman, but much later (he never met Nessmuk) and published the book Camping & Woodcraft in 1916. He's also considered one of the pioneers of bushcraft and considered by many to be one of the first true conservationists.

anyhow, these two both had their tools handmade to their exact specifications as they learned and figured out what worked best for them. in the case of Nessmuk, there is his trio...the knife, the double bit hatchet and a stockman folding knife with two blades. the only really talked about tool of Kephart was his knife. Kephart wrote a number of books...I'm slowly making my way through them. you can get them off the Internet Archive. Nessmuk's book is open-something, but you need to have an account and login to get access to 'borrow' the works of Kephart.
I used to have two double-headed axes from my grandfather excellent axes but they were stolen I have them so sharp tha iould shave with them well not very goodd I would cut my face because they were big and heavy lol

As I've mentioned before, I went on a bit of a keyboard switch kick trying to find what works for me. The last ones to come in were the Outemu Silent Peach V3's. I've never run with silent switches before, but I have to say that I'm super impressed. I certainly like a variety of both 'thocky' and 'creamy' linear switches, but these have been a very nice change of pace. Not only are they a great typing experience, but they also make my wife happy who always gets annoyed by the mechanical typing.

I was looking into those K20's with 24gb of VRAM for testing with Topaz Video AI since it can use multiple GPUs.
