besides 5 vs 6 i thought the NanoHD was still specced higher than the 6 lite.

Downgrading from 4x4 to 2x2 etc.

(I was contemplating replacing the NanoHD with the 6 lite in the bedroom hallway but it doesn't seem like a move forward)

I stand to be corrected, but I believe the higher spec on the Nano is more about being able to handle more simultaneous clients (up to 200) than about quality of connection. I've got less than 50 wifi devices split between two APs so I'll never hit than.

I'm hoping that I'll see higher throughput to my laptop with an ax AP than I am currently seeing with the ac NanoHD.

Thats a pretty good deal but using 1.5Ah batteries with my dewalt grinder I'd keep an eye out on a deal for a larger capacity battery I only have a collection of older 1.5Ah and 4Ah batteries. Tools like the grinders, circular saws, reciprocating saws etc all work with the smaller batteries but can drain a battery pretty fast and are a lot nicer with the larger battery if your doing anything more than a single cut or two.
