Technics RS-BR465 Cassette deck for 8$ at a Goodwill. Perfect working order too!

I'm probably the only one excited about a 20+ year old Cassette deck, but it's a nice unit - full logic, auto type select, manual bias adjustment, Dolby B and C

Nice looking too! Have lots of cassette tapes? How much would be a double cassete one?

It is very classic Technics in design, isn't it :)

We didn't have a CD player in the house until Christmas 1998 and I kept a bunch of our old tapes, so I've got some. Definitely some in rough shape, but still.

No idea what it would cost for a dual deck of that series, I got it at a thrift store :).

Gigabyte GA-Z170X Gaming 7 mobo and an i5-6600K to go in it.

Ditching X99? I spent a fortune on my rig, and large cheddar on memory and have had terrible cold boot issues for a year now. Considering the change, but the losses would be pretty intense I am sure.

Might just switch RAM and see if that helps...

First thing I do when I'm in my new place is hooking up my old 80s Onkyo Turntable :punk:
