I could easily be talked into one of these IF HeatKillers arrive soon. That would be an easy sell for me, just because I'm curious what these cards can do underwater, particularly the Zotac variant. I've had good luck with Zotac, and my current Zotac 2080Ti is a monster under water.

NanoPi Neo 3 (2GB). Pretty neat little package, I'm running a Docker container for AdGuard Home and KMS, along with NTP Server directly. Basically my network service appliance now, rather than having a VM do it. Now I'm not without DNS when I reboot :)

Runs Ubuntu 18.0.4 and came with the case/assembled as per picture below. Came out to $50 CAD but also had to pickup a microSD card (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07FCMBLV6) and USB-C charger (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07WRKXQ8W), so closer to $100 all said and done. Probably could have bought cheaper charger and smaller SD but I want it to last.

That's a super neat little unit! Just to clarify for me: AdGuard I get. KMS as in Key Management Service? And NTP server as in Network Time Protocol?

Does AdGuard work differently than PiHole?

Yup you got it :) Looking to setup this too maybe: https://pydio.com/

I think Pi-Hole's latest release brings in some of the stuff AdGuard had, but I still prefer AdGuard's interface as it's a bit easier to use.
