AX3000 model Deco X50 mesh system. Comes from Primus fibre internet but may work with others. THey give you a free pod to extend the range so I plug it in to power in my existing wifi zone, not ethernet, and the light continues to flash blue, meaning it's not connecting to the wifi. What is needed to make it connect, do I need to shut down the modem and start from scratch using the phone app again?

Yeah I used the app to setup the system the first time but adding a pod isn't seamless like their videos would have you believe. I'm going to attempt it tonight but doing a full reset like it's the first setup again but with both pods plugged in to see if that works.
The app won't connect to my existing network after reinstalling it on a new phone, even it behaves like Loki in Avengers.

I think these are the "ISP" version of the Deco X50, not entirely off-the-shelf version. I had got the same with Distributel (parent of Primus) and it was wonky when the Bell guy was here to set it up. I no longer use it anyways, but it seemed like it had to contact Distributel's servers to pull some sort of config. He said he always had issues with them too lol

My suggestion would be after you do the full reset, give it some time, maybe 5-10mins, so that it can check-in and do whatever it needs to do.
