I just discovered that the MSI Z790 Edge WiFi has 5x M.2 NVMe slots and 4 of them support RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10. I have to say I'm colored curious by the possibilities!
I just wanna do it for the gits n shiggles of it.I went over this in CM's thread a few weeks ago. There is no real world benefit for gaming / Home desktop use. Unless you for some reason are reading and writing large files all the time. The way SSDs are designed, most of the reads are random and small (i.e the block size). And for desktop use, the queue depth doesn't really break 1-2. So the most important metric of an SSD is generally low queue depth 4k reads. RAID0 just doesn't increase this metric. The bottleneck ends up being somewhere else.
