I got this WD Elements external drive with 3 tb. Bought in 2016. Non of my intetnal or other elements drives have 4096 bytes/sector both physical and logical. But this drive has. How is this possible?

And most importantly how can I format my other wd drives to be 4k logical/physical as well?

Another WD related question. When will the WD60EFZX drives look exactly like this. The ones sold in webshops now look different.

Drives were changed at some point to an industry standard, as size/density increased. You can emulate backwards but it causes a performance hit for obvious reasons.

To your second question; it's either an OEM thing or they changed the branding labels. The drives remain the same mechanically & electrically.
