Prostreet works mostly except for the odd lock up with the WDDM 1.1 pre release driver, but wddm is sort of choppy, not so smooth. I've tried 180.42/181.20/181.22 and now using 181.71. What happens is prostreet installs fine ( tried compatibility) but when I open the game I get a black screen with the arrow curser, the sound comes on normal and continues threw initial game start up but no pic at all, then when I ctrl alt del out there is aan error box that nfs .exe has errored. Has anyone got prostreet working on the 18x.xx drivers and win 7 64?

Farcry 1;all drivers, Installs fine but freezes every few steps then eventually locks.

MOH Airborne;181.71, Uninstall physx 1st before installing game(same as xp64). Installs fine, Odd hicup, played for a couple hours, seems stable.

Farcry 2 ; 181.71, easy install, played a couple hours seems good.

Please add on to the thread about other games as far as whats working and what problems there are.

Thanks

The drivers that are available through windows update (I believe they are 179.xx) were fine for Mass Effect, Mirror's Edge, L4D, CS:S, Audiosurf, Dawn of War II MP Beta.

181.71 worked fine with Mass Effect, but not with Fallout 3. In F3 it would crash to the desktop after about 30 secs to a minute of gameplay. I got this problem in Vista 64-bit too with certain drivers (I don't remember which but they fixed the issue in the recent releases).

Right now I am using the Vista 185.20 Beta drivers in Windows 7 64-bit. This seems to have corrected the CTD issue with Fallout 3. I haven't tried any other games with this release yet.

upcoast, you should try the 185.20 drivers. Maybe it'll fix the problem you are encountering. You can get them here: http://downloads.guru3d.com/Videocards---NVIDIA-GeForce-Vista-32|64_c32.html

GTA4, had to run in vista compatability mode and as admin, didnt notice any issues other than the install
Crysis, again had to run in compatability mode and admin
Far Cry 2, may have jsut been me but i was getting a black screen, i had to edit the preferences file manually or something dont even remember lol. Either way i found the fixes for it by googling far cry 2 black screen with audio, and it was happening on xp and vista so its not a win7 issue
CS:S installed via steam and no issues, may be different if you install with a cd/dvd though

I tried the 185.xx drivers and read up on the black screen with audio, looked all over the net again a with no resolve for prostreet. I'm almost gonna give up on the nfs prostreet game for win7 it's just not wanting to go.
