Win 7 on ancient laptop?

Yeah unfortunately I don't think that CPU has enough power to decode h264 video (what most online video is nowadays). That CPU is 14 years old, it's long past it's prime. Even just a modern web browser with HTML5, Javascript, CSS, etc is probably a bit too demanding for it since those things didn't really exist back then either.

Heh... I'd posit that the cpu was long past it's prime when it was released.... ;)

I don’t think it’s worth trying to find a stripped win 7. It’s going to be Linux or bust...my bets are on the later.
