Anything that works with Vista will work in Windows 7 as far as I know.

Basically anything will do, though if you have a 802.11n router/network, I'd suggest buying the company suggested one to obtain the best speeds.

I only have a 802.11g router so I will be buying a wireless g adapter since it's cheaper. Any suggestion for a reliable one?

No idea really since I don't use wireless on any desktops.

I'd say stick with D-Link and Linksys though.
