I haven't played but I'm hearing that DLSS doesn't seem to work at all.
It works. But I have been hearing that DLSS 3 is causing crashing. But I (after fixing some mod related issues) have been running at about 70ish fps with DLSS in performance mode. Still have some tweaking to do though.

Just a note, even if you don't have a GPU that supports ray tracing, the ray tracing presets are not disabled. I clicked one by accident tonight... crash-ola. So don't do that :)

I tried playing some more with the new close up cameras, just to give them a fair try. I can see there is a sort of cinematic quality, and I kind of like it during combat, but imo it just leaves you a little too situationally unaware. I've gone back to the normal cameras again.

Re-installed it, but I'm going to give it a couple weeks before I make any attempt to play it. Outside of Nintendo first party games, there's not much that 'runs great at release' anymore, and I'd rather play with bugs at a minimum later than buggy and sooner.

AKA; "I learned my lesson that time I tried to play a Bethesda game at release" (Fallout 3 in my case).

I'm not seeing any bugs at all in my play. But maybe you mean issues with ray tracing or something I'm not seeing anyway? For me it is the same as it was before the 14 Dec update, just some additional visual niceness and some more options in the settings.

Mostly meant issues with DLSS, ray tracing, etc.

I don't expect the update to introduce many bugs into the core/gameplay, but there'll probably be some visual issues here and there and like lowfat and ipaine mentioned some DLSS quirks. Wouldn't be surprised if one or two textures are bugged or a clipping issue or two pops up. Nothing that breaks the game by any means, but I'm in no rush and can wait on the chance it needs a patch or two.

Did the update, Change all settings to Ultra, and I'm not impressed. I only went as far as the opening with the bedroom action and it looks the exact same as before. Did I miss something?
running in 2k with a 3070GTX at 70+ fps.

I think in the older version you had to go into options and select HD textures to enable the older HD texture packs. Maybe double check your settings and see if there's a toggle you need to hit.

From the screenshots I've seen it's didn't look like a drastic change to me, maybe you're just not noticing it as much? Could always try and do a version rollback and see if you notice a change.

It isn't a drastic change if you had HD textures before, but if you have RT on then it sure seems to make a difference. I'll try to find a spot later after work to take a couple screenshots of with and without so people can see.

Don't forget it did look good before too.
