So I mentioned the NF-A9x14 made it's way into the media center instead. The NF-A9x25 showed up this evening and well didn't take long to cut down the frame to match the OEM fan. Now the CD-Rom is the most audible thing instead of the cooling fan. I had to shine a flash light into the fan grills just to make sure it was spinning and I didn't mess something up.
Gave it a quick cleaning before I put it back together and gave it a healthy dose of duronaugt paste.
I didn't modify any factory pieces of the 360S to make this work only modified the fan.
