Looking to sell my system in the near future, looks like my summer job isn't going to happen anymore.

Here's the specs:
Motherboard: Asus p9x79 PRO Motherboard

RAM: 4X4GB Gskill trident X 2400

PSU: Coolermaster Silent Gold PRo 1000W Modular

SSD: 120GB corsair Force

HDD: 2TB Seagate

GPU: Asus GTX 690

Case: Huge but generic, not worth much

CPU Cooler: Zalman

CPU: i7 3930K

Probably going to sell this and downgrade to a more affordable system. I really need help figuring out how much it's worht though!
Thanks Guys

Tough to move unless you have a pal interested. Anyone that appreciates the gravity of those components would probably want you to part it out.

I mean 690 $1000, 3930K $550, a $300 mobo and even your PSU is a $200 monster. Most people putting that kind of smack together will be doing it for the experience.

I would put it in the $1800-$2000 range. Let's see what others think...

Yes, the one thing you have to bear in mind, unless a part is BNIB (Brand New In Box), you'll never get near what you pay for it......be prepared to take a 30% loss, more if you want it sold fast, unfortunately thats the way the cookie crumbles when selling PC Components.

If folks are willing to drop "close" to full value for Parts, most will simply buy new (no issues with RA, Warranty etc).

When I sell I start @ 60% retail then work down if I am motivated. That depends, of course, on the demand for said items.

For newer premium components it depends. 20% is reasonable. GTX 690 ~ $800-850? 3930k probably around $350-400. Mobo ~$200-225. PSU ~ $150. Memory ~ $100-$150. SSD $80. HD $60.

$1600 for the system.

Also, I wouldnt recommend downgrading unless you can also get the new parts at a similar discounted rate or you have a specific need such as to save power or need some peace and quiet. Otherwise you are just throwing money away to go to a lesser system.
