Hello I play mostly bf3 and will be playing the new mechwarrior MWO when it comes out soon. Is it time for an upgrade. Im thinking 7850 or 560ti 448. I would also add that I water cool my cards and with the extra expense and hassle I try to upgrade only when its really worth it.

thx

Well I run a WC'd 560ti 448 (asus) and I love it but if i had to go again it would probably be a 670 with a waterblock.

A 7850 will only be about 25% faster than your 5850. If you want to make it noticeable, you should go for at least a GTX670. Check out this comparison:

You card is still fast enough for most games. Its really up to you if it is or isn't doing what you want it to do in game. If you are upgrading though I would agree that a gtx 670 would be the card to go for. Anything less is not going to be a night and day improvement.

Wow that chart is what I was looking for. It lets me check out price performance of different cards easily.

I also have a HD5850. And I was going to jump to a HD 7870. But, My card handles all the new games. So, I may hold on till next year. But thats just my personal opinion.
