XMP on laptop ?

recently bought a Asus TUF FX505DU with 1x16gb 2666mhz but running at 2400, bought 2x 8gb ddr4 3200 to upgrade to dual channel and i cant find the option to enable xmp and ryzen master doesnt work since a 3750h isnt supported ????

anyways would love to upgrade the ram speed since i have it! thanks !

i dont have the option in the bios, unless its really hidden far... usually in advance its right there on motherboard but not in this bios

Only high end gaming laptops have XMP which is why we've got to be careful to ensure that memory we pick as upgrades does it's rated speed natively (JEDEC) as opposed to requiring XMP.

Quick check on the processor suggests that it only does 2400 mem speeds so that's all you're going to get out of it.

i totally forgot to check amd pages for cpu specs.... thanks SSwilson :p oh well i didnt loose money anyways, the 3200mhz kit i got was cheaper than most 2400 / 2666 memory lol
