Report: AMD will not support Windows 10 on your next-gen Ryzen 8050/9000 PC

According to one of AMD's partners, the company is looking to stop driver support on Windows 10 with the upcoming Ryzen 8050 series of processors. The report also adds Zen 5 IPC performance numbers.

Sad but not unexpected. MS already stopped supporting it unless you pay for it so why bother with support it on your new platform. I just hope someone would build an OSX-ish OS to rival Windows. With all the AI crap on Windows, I really want to see a good alternative. Linux is just too annoying to use.

MS has not stopped supporting it yet.

Windows 10 will reach end of support on October 14, 2025. The current version, 22H2, will be the final version of Windows 10, and all editions will remain in support with monthly security update releases through that date.

And as for that report, not saying it won't be true, but that is just a Lenovo China manager. So just rumor until AMD actually says something.
