wPrime 2.0 32M/1024M Benchmark Competition

Yeah 495 was pushing it. I don't think it would've been linpack stable, but it benches nicely. My system crashed when I tried 505.

Does RAM timing and freq affect wprime scores much?
 
No, not really.... I've tried to tweak it but it doesn't help much.... what I do see is that Win 7 sucks in wPrime benching... I can't get lower than 11.107(@ 3.6GHz on air) now... XP is a lot faster :(
 
I only have Windows 7 installed on my rig. I can't image Vista would be any quicker (it's the only OS I have).
How much quicker is XP?
 
Let me post my scores from W7 and compare them to 1Tanker...We both have same mobo/CPU, similar RAM, clocks etc... Here you go:

Well..i think we know one guy who should be able to... but 32M SuperPi is his bench of choice. :biggrin: He's probably done it on HWBot.

Another one:
There still seems to be no system capable of de-dethroning Behemoth from the 1024m spot. How come? You guys OCing so hard you can't run the true multi-threaded benchmark of performance without becoming unstable? /taunt /challenge. :ph34r:
