Agreed..their PK is worlds better...their defense in general, is solid now. Kessel seems to have found his game again..woohoo.:punk: I think Jiggy's lookin' pretty dam good. Been awhile since we've had top-notch goal-tending. I'm so glad Mayers is gone...that's at least one penalty/game less. -

Burke's stuck on this toughness "obsession". Remember at the start of the season, he said i want teams to fear playing us, etc,etc. That's not the case..in fact any team on a losing streak wants to play the Leafs. Orr's lost quite a few of his recent fights, and penalties are the last thing... -

This just substantiates what i said in my last post! First he handcuffs the team for the drafts(Kessel deal), rendering a last-place finish more than an embarrassment. Now he gets rid of White!!!!! WTF!:shok: He's one of the best players on the team...yeah he's created a few costly turnovers... -

I think Kessel played a little better, even though he couldn't pot one. He had a couple great chances that probably would/should have gone in...if not for Ward's great play. Kulemin's goal was sweet, he shot that in as he was falling. :punk: All in all, a devastating night for the Leaf Nation... -

I'm just countering your arguement that Kessel is in a slump because he's getting too much coverage. I'm not comparing the Leafs to any of those teams..just stating that they(the true goal-scorers) still find ways to score even when the other team tries to take away their time and space. :biggrin: -

I didn't read the link, but i'm starting to think that Kessel could be a large part of the problem. 1st off, his first game, he rocks. Then it's slowly downhill from there. He turns over the puck more than any other Leaf, from what i see. He's got a wicked release, and good skating-skills...but... -
