It should be back up on the store in a few days, they just had to take the old client down and wait for the F2P client to get approved probably. (Although I don't know why they didn't just go the Champions Online route and push an update for it).

I hope it's not too laggy, I'd really like to get back into it without wasting 10gb on the d/l for nothing.

This one is a Source mod so you'll need any game that uses Source to play it, but the mod itself is free and will bring you back to the days of Goldeneye N64:

Not a lot, but I have played a few hours since it became free to play. CS/DOD 1.6 and source were some of the first computer games I ever really got into, so its similar, but definitely more amusing.

STO is back on Steam now. Played a few hours last weekend, runs alot better than I remember last year, however with all the new players bound to join on Steam, who knows what it'll be like. The last few updates added quite a bit Star Trek Online - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
