Gaming Headphones Showdown. What To Buy?

I may be able to get a good deal on some Astro A40's, how do those compare? Also seen the Tritons. I guess I am stepping up here. :)

Curious... Is the Asus Xonar DGX any good, or are there better options without stepping into professional amps (Mbox) etc.?
 
Upgrade from the sense not sure on that lol, some like Astro's, not sure which model though, triton imho is for Xbox usually, and not very tough though , didn't last my son long.

Will say have never tried astro though.

Between those and 555's the Sen's win,except in cost,700's give you premium grade without Sen pricing.
 
kid stole my asus essence also have the pheobus (think it is spelled). Xonar have heard nothing bad. Honestly love the amp/dac's for everything to do with headphones, carefull though, they can take your hearing out easily, super loud on efficient headphones like the ones we have been talking about. I dont have the money to spend like some, just went for the fiio combo, love it though. Now gaming still use my pheobus though. Not sure would want to amp bf3 lol.
