Gaming Headphones Showdown. What To Buy?

Between those and 555's the Sen's win, except in cost,700's give you premium grade without Sen pricing.

Ya I like the audio technica's Jim, for me more for music, though allot of guys swear by them for gaming on sites like headfi.org for the wide sound stage and positioning. My son uses the blue yeti for a mic on his hd555's , I tried the cheaper blue snowball haven't tested out his yeti yet.

ya the asus has an amp built in on that card, find is the detail maybe is the dac am hearing. Sound changes with the amp dac I find compared to the pheobus.

Never meant to say the Astro's were a step up from the Senn's. Just meant that I was stepping up in general. :P

Just got back from Canada Computers as I had to get a 3.5mm jack extension for my Siberia's. I was wondering if the sound quality would diminish using an extension?
