Google Stop SCREWING Around with Chrome!

Trodas: I think you have very odd views of published etc..

Anything in the news IS public domain, re-read what I said.

As I said, school projects etc (education), don't see any difference here..

As for if something is Aired publicly then it's public domain, well thats just silly. Otherwise no program / film / documentary / music maker ever would have a leg to stand on once their material made it to the airwaves..
How do they sell their programs in so many different countries if it's just free once it's been aired..

Fair use laws don't apply.. it's UK copyright not american so it's Fair dealings.

Beyond non-commercial research, private study, and incidental copying, another common exception to copyright is for criticism, review, or news reporting.

I don't think yours is covered by any of these.

I would prefer if they were to put both the frequently used pages as well as the apps on the same page so we can quickly access our stuff. I'm going to keep using chrome for the time being.. but I'm trying to get away from gmail. No active-sync support is a big no no for me.

IE 11 is still pretty unstable but if they can get it to work decently, it's going to be quite good.. it's really snappy but crashes in most of my web consoles.

I thought only I was pissed about this too! Chrome even locked up an old laptop of mine, had to reinstall overtop the exisiting to get it to run again.

there's a lot of people that can't disambiguate between 'what I think is right' and actual legal laws.

it's the same psychological process that makes people think it's fair to (knowingly) compare firefox 3.6 to modern chrome. you know there's still people that think firefox doesn't have background updates?

Chrome is for the common population who use "office" pcs. Firefox rules. Chrome uses 300mb+ space compared to firefox 40-50 mbs. No comparison.

It does but doesn't take crazy space like chrome.
