That post seems to imply updated/revised units would be ready at the beginning of August... it's now almost September so maybe updated stock now? Newegg had it for $1349 but it sold out...

Dell just launched an alienware 34 inch ultrawide gsync/curved line. But not really the specs that we're looking for. But the outlook is great for 2018 for a good chance at a well made, and frequently discounted 35 inch 200hz gsync HDR

On a side note - with all these new displays on the horizon i think ill hold off on upgrading to a X34 from my U3415W until next year.
Unless he only plays 6+ year old games on low settings :haha:
