So I enabled bridge mode but it disconnects too often and I can't surf the web because it constantly disconnects and reconnects. The link rate fluctuates but it's never at its full potential. Sometimes when it's good I get good speed for about 30mins. In total there are only 6 people sharing the...
I don't know I assume they don't have a good router. However I have my own router which is Asus RT N66U. Can I use it to make a bridge betwen the two routers?
I just got thus wireless network adaptor. Because I was frustrated with the poor performance of my previews TP Link wireless adaptor. But the thing is Asus adactor gets weaker signal. I cannot bring the router close to me because I'm in a residence. What's going on? This new card is way more...
Thanks for the tips. I installed H105 on Haswell 4790K on Maximus VII Hero.
The idle temp (realtemp) is higher than I expected (around 37C with no overclocking).
Is this too high? Should I reapply the thermal paste?
Also I found that the fans come with H105 are rather too noisy. I think...
Thanks.
I just used some microfiber cloth but it left some tiny scratches (visible but not much).
I think there was some small particle on the cloth itself.
I cleaned the surface but I hope it doesn't affect it too much.
I just bought Corsair H105 for Intel Core i7 1150 with Asus Maximus VII MOBO.
I bought Arctic 5 paste so I can use it for the CPU and the waterblock.
The problem is that H105 waterblock has already have thermal paste applied on it. What can I do to ensure the surface is clean? Can I just use my...
Last time I built a desktop PC was a 5 years ago already. I've had Core i7 920 with EVGA X58 and over the years they've worked great without any major malfunction. Lately I noticed some telltale signs of motherboard failure and started thinking about upgrading my PC (more of a major overhaul)...
I used driversweeper to remove any Nvidia related driver for the last video card.
Do you think it's the monitor? This monitor is over 8 years old. I tried different refresh rate for the monitor but it's the same.
For PSU I use Corsair 1000W and I think it's more than enough. The video card...
Thanks JD.
No I haven't even opened the package. The funny thing is the hard disk's static bag has a bunch of words like fragile, delicate, etc. I don't want to take any chance by opening it. I ordered it from Amazon.ca because I use them occasionally to buy books and some electronics. Actually...
I recently order a hard disk (Western Digital 2TB Black) from Amazon.ca.
I happened to check its delivery status yesterday and was surprised to read "Delivery Status: delivered" on the invoice. I never got the package and called UPS (Amazon.ca sells stuff UPS is the middle man) this morning and...
I just got a Powercolor HD7850 and installed the video card.
Everything is fine and I like the performance of the card but when the monitor shows a lot of black it appears to have non-ending, transparent waves moving down towards the bottom.
How do I fix this? My monitor is a bit old (Samsung...
Hi guys.
I need to a lot of scanning of book excerpts and documents. I need them look clear without fuzzy edges and stuff. Looking for a flatbed scanner that does its job smoothly and fast. It also need to be big enough to fit a school textbook. Thanks. Oh and I tend to avoid HP products.
Buying a can of air isn't cheap.
I think it's normal to pay from $5~8 a can and it doesn't last long.
I was thinking about buying a air nozzle. Has any one had an experience with this?
I would like to hear more about this or any other alternative option.
Thanks.
