gtx 680 single or sli?
I run a Dell U2711 at 2560 on a single 680 and I'm playing everything maxed and haven't ran into any issues FPS wise. It's been fantastic. A single 680 will be more than enough to drive 1920 with that monitor. Or as Bond said, a 670 would also be more than enough.- Devious

Battlefield 3
I've been playing it for the last day as well, I don't know if I'd say the maps suck, I think they're pretty good for close quarters battles, but I do think the spawns need to be worked out, especially in gunplay where you can literally spawn next to opposing team. I do wish the sound was a bit... -

Upgrade Questions
Picked up the 680 on the weekend (Saturday) and it's been pretty solid so far. Bond007's chart is essentially dead on. I grabbed a EVGA 680 SC Signature and it's averaging between 45-48 FPS in BF3, 55 in Diablo 3, and I haven't had a chance to test anything else yet, but this seems to be giving...- Devious

Upgrade Questions
Picking up a 680 tomorrow, hopefully should see the gains I'm wanting. I'm a bit of GFX whore I do notice the differences when I drop MSAA and definitely notice when I turn HBAO/SSAO off, so that's unacceptable. I'll end up picking up a second 680 if I'm still seeing unacceptable results...- Devious

Thanks for the replies and advice. I picked up the display earlier today, in battlefield i'm averaging between 35-40 FPS, diablo 3 seemed to be pretty solid around 50 most of the time. But there are frequent moments in BF3 particularly where I'll drop to 19-25 fps and sometimes as low as 12 in...- Devious
