Yeah used is the way IMO. ConnectX-3 cards are in the price bracket as well*. Depending on the price of the DAC (and length needed), sometimes cheap used transceivers and optical cables from a place like www.fs.com may be cheaper (they are great anyways if you need anything fiber). Nope, they ended it at book 6 of 9 (+ all the novellas etc.). This was a natural break as the next arc takes place 30 28 years in the future and has completely different villain's if you will. If they were going to end the series that was the proper place to do it. Thats why I thought it was... -

yeah, I do hope something new comes out sooner than later. It was odd they spent so much time at the start of each episode bringoing the Strange Dogs novella to screen and introducing/Duarte. Especially in a episode constrained season. Maybe a spin-off is already in the works we don’t know of... -

Yeah it’s kinda BS. IIRC when I ran into it earlier private mode cleared it, so if there is something you want to look at use that mode, eat your 3 then reopen. PITA But should work. -

I have been quite happy with my toppings. DX3 Pro and PA3. https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?reviews/ as well imo. if you haven’t. The DX7 has a good DAC but the amp isn’t great. SMSL makes a better ES9038PRO combo for way less money — M500 MKII Though you may have to order it... -

Likely a dumb question (haven’t had a chance to watch buildzoids vid yet) but has anyone checked if their ram is still okay after it goes poof. Pretty close to that area.- Entz

Dead hdd in raid 5 config
Which card? Should be no issue with hotswapping the drive and it should auto-rebuild once the new one is installed. At least on any card I have used you have to explicitly disable auto-rebuild. Do you have software to manage it from an OS vs the cards BIOS ? This lets you monitor it and worst...- Entz

As mentioned earlier PCIe lanes is your biggest enemy, I hope AM5 does another industry changing moment (like consumer cores vs enterprise/Hedt) and runs 32+ G5 from the CPU but I am not holding my breath - artificial silos and shareholders and all that.- Entz
