Hey,
I'm interested in getting the Planar SA2311W 23 monitor. Problem is that I would rather purchase it in person at a brick and mortar store in case something goes wrong. Does anyone here know of a planar authorized dealer in Montreal?
Thanks!
Hey, are there reliable mouses out there that a solidly built and give excellent reponse? I mean I've just read a thread about how the the $100+ Ikari mouse dies out in less than three years while my mx310 still holds out for 6 years and my IBM keyboard for even more. Surely there must be...
Hey, well the new machine is finally built.
It's running very nice, and the fans are much more silent than the previous machine.
Again, I decided to go for the vanilla GTX 260 because I got for $219 at the time which was a great deal. Didn't think that adding $120 more for a few more cores was...
Well I'd go for it if it was cheaper. but it doesn't seem like it is.
I'm sticking to the GTX 260 because it's at $219 on my current order, unless there are more arguments against it.
So far here are the changes:
CPU: E8400 -> Q9400 @ $278.99 (Pricematch link: Buy Intel [BX80580Q9400] Intel...
I've made an order on NCIX.com for the EVGA 780i FTW Motherboard, but the price match was rejected since they consider it a discontinued item, they did offer me the 790i FTW at $255, but that requires DDR3. What about DDR2 v.s DDR3? I heard that it wasn't really worth switching to triple...
Well my machine is now officially dead. I desperatly need a new one now. I had http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/new-builds/13650-need-advice-parts-selection-purchasing.html]planned[/URL] a $1200+ build, but now I can`t go above $1000. I've decided that the i7 simply isn't worth it, so...
Has anyone checked these headphones out? They won this year's CES innovative product award in design and engineering. What's awesome is that there's no headphone DSP needed, so you have to set them as speakers! :biggrin:
They're made in Alberta and although the GST is applied, the shipping...
Thank you for your help ST.
But how should I go at purchasing those components? NCIX offers a service to assemble and test the parts for $50, but I can do that. The only worry is that I end up with a defective component and deal with RMA from across the country. Is that service worth it, or...
That's what manual overrides are for on thermostats. That feeling of control when you need it. :bleh:
Hmmm... I just noticed that those corsair 1600 are 1 GB sticks. I think I would rather go with the 2GB x 3 arrangement at the 1333 Mhz clock. Not likely to overclock the ram.
not sure at...
