  • yeah 3.5 seems to be the limit with my combination too.

Not too sure abou why your 4850 is acting weird, I doubt it's because you set the pci to 100mhz

Also, I don't think you overclocking your processor would have anything to do with artifacts in sims 3
srry dont chk this account much so didnt see ur message. K yea im keeping it sadly... my 4850 is acting weird, is it cuz it may or maynot have been set to 100 :| :(

4850 lags at times in fifa 09 and treees are artifacted in sims 3 :( but games fine .... :(

anywyz about the board how else can i make it faster. I oced to 3.5 works fine with OCCT, intel burn test, but crashed once with Orthos, so i guess itz fine.
hey man, about your mobo. Best advice I can give you, is if you can still return it and get your money back. Do it, I HATE IT! The voltage limitations are brutal.

If your gonna keep it though, I can help ya. :D
If you plan on overclocking 3.4ghz and up, you might as well put the CORE voltage to the max of +15%.
I find that with the combination of the e5200 and p43 chipset, you hit a fsb wall at around 350.
I played it safe and set my multi to 12.5 and my fsb to... I forget what I set it to. But my speed comes out to 3.5ghz lol.

Also dont forget to lock your pci frequency to 100mhz. It's to protect your pci cards.

Again, if you plan to overclock past 3.5 ghz, I suggest you return that board (if you can get your money back that is). If your fine with 3.0 to 3.5 ghz then I can help you some more :D.
