There's a Subaru headlight that I'm interested located in Vernon but since I'm in Vancouver, driving up there is not really worth my time (10 hours min round trip). I'm wondering if there's a member in the Vernon or Kelowna area that is interested in picking it up for me and ship it to me + service fee. The only issue I foresee is that the unit isn't exactly light and it's kind of bulky. Also, I could get a USDM version that match my car exactly for $150 CAD shipped to Point Roberts.

Oh that's too far out to ask for a favor. I'm exploring an eBay source that matches my USDM light correctly for about $120 shipped. I'm using a JDM left headlight right now and the guy on FB is selling the right hand one (my original USDM right hand one got crushed).
 
Usually the USDM headlights have less headaches due to the difference in how they are aimed.

So if I read that correctly and the one in Vernon is JDM the eBay source might be the better bet.

Yes JDM is aim differently and when my mom backed into my Subie and crushed the right hand side USDM light, I took a risk and bought a set off JDM off Vancouver FBM. It turns out while they mount correctly, the left hand was post facelift and right hand was pre facelift. The inside edge of the lens is different so the front grill won't mount. Back then the USDM headlight were hard to find online and I missed the chance to buy a set of USDM locally (also different lens type).

Damn you Subaru for making different lens for the same generation of Impreza.
