Smarttube has been absolutely terrible for me since last update. Skip a sponsor, takes longer than just watching it. Often it also just crashes when a video is over.
EDIT: Will try VP9 decoding insteaad of AV1 for a while and see how it does. Does seem better.
Got the A1 in to Home Assistant. Default screen.
When I hit the light button, it disappears. And then the camera feed shows up. Light stays on for 2 min.
When a print starts, it will also show progress %, current layer, and time remaining.
X2D is now supported. However until Orca supports...
I have a couple rolls of TPU. One is about as stiff as an elastic band. The other is quite a bit stiffer but don't know its actual hardness. If it is 95A, then I'll be disappointed when the new filament arrives. As I want something quite a bit stiffer.
Anyone try high speed 95A TPU? Sounds like it should be stiffer than typical TPU. Sounds like it could be a good material if you need some impact resistance. 4KG of Sunlu was only $50 on Amazon. So going to give it a shot.
2017 Nvidia Shield TV Pro for $30 off FB. Software hasn't been updated in 4 years lol.
Still one of the best media streamers. Still getting updates.
EDIT: Damn it. 2017 model not 2019. Doesn't support Dolby Vision. NO!
So AMS2 can't use dry function in the printer is doing anything as printer doesn't supply enough power. But it does have an external power barrel. Bambu wants $41 for a PSU. I have a bunch of Mean Well PSUs from past projects that I'm not using. And had a barrel jack laying cut off from an old...
Started using X2D today. Still only 1 nozzle prints, as I won't be using the 2nd nozzle until the Comgrow SH02 dryer.
First print was pretty disappointing TBH w/ the stock profile. Surface quality was poor. I am really missing some of my settings from Orcaslicer, which doesn't have any X2D...
Definitely clear the chamber heater sensor is reading low. Both hotends and bed all read 5C warmer.
I've got the part cooling fan and 'filter' fan, which is on recirculation mode, at 100%. Then exhaust fan at 10% to extract some of the moisture.
Should work good as a filament dryer I think.
I'm not sure where the thermistor for the chamber heater is, but it seems wildly inaccurate.
Was SO close to pulling trigger on an a Sovol SH02 filament dryer yesterday. They were $90. But got side tracked. Open laptop today and the Comgrow SH02 (exactly the same), is down to $73. So ordered...
Mostly got printer area cleaned up. Still need to do some filament storage .
Haven't printed anything yet on it. Currently using printer as a filament dryer. The AMS dryer seems so half baked. Max 24 hours at a time? That ain't drying out shit. TBH besides seeing levels of filament, I see no...
Get new 3d printer. Want to put it on the big steel (6ft x 6ft x 22 inchshelf I have. Measure printer and looks like it will fit. But the AMS (filament changer) would go on above shelf. It would be annoying to load filament. So I decide I'll drop a couple of the shelves. Remember why I didn't...
Got X2D yesterday, definitely should have bought the filament switcher, so I don't need to swap spools between AMS and the external spool holder. And of course it is now OOS.
Also was hoping I could design a drybox to be used on the X2D for the external spool holder. But it doesn't seem to be...
Update on neighbours. Maybe the last? Get home last night and the 5th wheel is gone, their yard is a disaster. My end of my fence is broke and pushed 6 ft. Likely because they couldn't get the 5th wheel out. Mad @ fence? Yes. But thank the gods they are gone.
TBH the fence stuck out too much...
House next door had a fire like 3 years ago. Didn't burn down (unfortunately?). No idea on interior damage but enough damage that there was a small hole in the roof. It sounded like the guy has been 'fixing' it for 3 years. I could see through my window the house was down to studs. And I hear...
