If we in Canada can pay over $4000, and the industry hasnt skipped a beat, then I'm sure a country with 10x the population, and an immensly larger pool of enthusiasts, would be willing to pay that as well. We can say it’s an Nvidia tax but in reality it’s supply and demand. Upon release the 9070xt was much closer in price. The reduction just shows AMDs desperation to sell. In addition they may be close in performance but the user experience is much better overall on the Nvidia cards and that shows... -

My boy Davie passwed away this morning. He hard a hard time breathing last night. My wife took him to the emerge around 1 am. This morning we found out that he had a huge mass. It was not operable. It's a sad day for us. -

It's like that with our cats too. I can sit on the couch watching the tv and they wont really bother me (mostly wont even give me the time of day), but the second I sit at my desk they are circling my chair stretching on ther hind legs at my desk, climbing in my lap. It's kind of odd. -

Honestly I didn’t use one in a long time. Most boards can handle a few nvme on board, and an nvme in an external is probably faster than sata anyway. For everything else a spinner is fine too.- crazyea

Can I run my TrueNAS apps off of just one NVMe? Or should I really mirror them?
I run unraid, with several apps, and everything sits on one nvme. The os sits on one usb. I wouldnt waste my money on mirroring them. but my data is not really that important. I could have plex and all of apps installed again with the quickness. You could also manually backup your apps as well.- crazyea
