Ordered a black wiimote with the integrated 'wii motion plus' inside and nunchuk on eBay from a seller in Nova Scotia. Both the photos and listing showed the WM+ model.
He sent one of the original wiimotes with the extra dongle which I was specifically trying to avoid. Also bought a wii set and...
I think it's one of those canards that was repeated so often people just assumed it was a fact. I know by college (2001-2006) I already knew it couldn't be dinosaurs from biomass alone (but I was in Archaeology, so it's not a far leap to understand basic geology/paleontology). I suspect you're...
At least it seems they're handing this one better than the flaming GPU bracket.
Another issue like this doesn't speak well of NZXT's current QC standards.
Is the tint mostly to keep your house from heating up in the summer? I doubt fading is a big concern inside of the house.
I'm familiar with the privacy film, but not the UV stuff.
I haven't used that one yet, but it looks very similar to the Switch Pro controller which is stellar.
Edit due to early 'enter' hit: I'd consider a switch pro or 8bit ultimate but streaming to my shield I found the bluetooth controllers were a little spotty, the Xbox Pro controller lets you use...
Hmmm, I'm generally not too interested in Blizzard games and D3 was pretty 'meh' for me (and D2 as much fizzle as sizzle), but I do love a good Paladin class.
Might give it a shot if it's on gamepass.
The Xbox One (aka Xbone) controller is the best controller IMO. Best twin sticks. Has the Nintendo style '+' D-pad and not the dog crap squishy circle of the 360 era (or the return to circle, albeit better) of the Series S/X.
I have 3 of the series 1 Xbox Elite gamepads (back paddles/buttons...
The original always looked like the pads would be more challenge than they're worth, at least for for the games I played mostly.
The new one looks like it blends a normal gamepad with something offering a mouse alternative a little better. I likely won't pick one up, but I'll be curious to...
Tbh, it's not just the injury/fatality aspect why I've never gotten back into it. Biking has a very small window for fun if you're doing it right.
In Edmonton you've basically got to wait until the gravel is cleaned off the road and the major potholes fixed (so we'll say Mid-may normally). You...
When I got mine I did the motorcycle lessons/class at TNT on the SW side of the city, and would recommend it if you haven't ridden before or it's been a long time.
I had ridden dirt bikes as a kid but was really rusty and found it worthwhile. Only downside is they operate out of that megachurch...
This feels like a solution without a problem.
Pin soldering is cheap and I doubt this method costs less than the old fashioned way. Since motherboards sit on standoffs having a small solder bump doesn't make a difference either. Nor are the bumps sharp enough to really be an issue.
Feels like...
Went on a retro spluge after getting an old trinitron last month (or the month before). In the last month I bought;
- NES
- Imported a Japanse Super Famicom and edge enhancer chip
- Imported a Japanese N64 w/ expansion pack, and an N64 RGB chip
- Sega Genesis and 32X, Triple bypass chip
- Sega...
IIRC the fish was actually pretty decent. Sounds like a notable change for the worse.
It was never 'good' food, but when I lived on the southside I'd rip to Ikea sometimes for the salmon or fried fish and get it with the steamed veggies and a slice of garlic toast for a decently healthy meal...
I get why they do this, but it feels like such a cave to boomers/genx/millenials (with boomers likely the loudest voices of the smokers). Can't risk the baby-soft current smokers having to give up their cigs, so lets just ban it for the kids.
Just ban the damn things and get it over with.
You can use it with those, but the vids from fibafuse show hand use too. Suspect it's just my delicate office fingers not being used to tradie work anymore haha
Finished the first room's taping in the basement on Satuday. When I went to Alberta drywall they gave me a free roll of fibafuse with the tub of jointing mud;
I had never used the stuff before but it looks like it's a lot stronger than the shitty 'grid' fiberglass tape. What they don't tell you...
Hmm it seems like it now defaults to Gemini as the assistant :S Doesn't look like I get to switch back to the old 'dumb' AA assitant. This suuuucks. I hate the new 'AI' AA assistant.
Edit: NM I was able to change it back and stop using Gemini. It was definitely buried in the settings.
The day...
