    Thanks for confirming that. Going a step further from your recommendation, is the amount of RAM important? What about some that have a quad cpu over a dual. Do these specs make a huge difference in a simple setup?

    Yes, the usage is pretty much to store our movies, videos, pics, and software to share between 5 computers. I hear ya on the 4-bay enclosure, even if you dont use em, you have em in case. As for the drives, would you recommend the WD Red's? or something else?

    Yup, you bet, its latest firmware! Yeah, I can get 1.3Gbps if I drag my rig upstairs and place it within 6 feet or so of the router, beyond that and it drops off.

    I got everything else configured in the router, only question is should I leave the channel bandwidth on 20/40/80MHz, 20MHz, 40MHz, or 80MHz in the pull down menu for each of the 3 bands?

    Sweet I threw both rigs with 3x3 adapters together on band 2 and everything else on band 1.. both rigs stay buried at 877.5Mbps and don't fluctuate
