    No problem. IPS is only good for photo editing anyway. PVA has better contrast and refresh. It's just much better for gaming and video. I love the 2709w... dell makes fine monitors.

    After the first dx10 capable games were out, the first dx10 hardware was not very capable of powering it. If crysis is any indication. I would wait until second generation dx11 cards are out, if dx11 gaming is of importance.
