thx for the info on those units. i went for the corsair 1000 att unit/ got it for $227 (price match) at ncix. it will be my first non enermax or pc power and cooling power supply. johnny guru gave it a 9.6, so hopefully it will work out. an intel core i5 at 2.67ghz an nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti.....will be upgrading soon and sli is a possibility. mostly i want lots of power for my 5 X wd 2tb greens and 4 X 4tb wd reds with possibility of more to com and room for expansion in the future. Rob123- rob123

whats with NCIX lately????????????
one small example 4tb WD reds--- $219.99 with a "massive" $8.99 off their normal price. that and no price matching due to this "special pricing" meanwhile ---$199 at new egg with plenty of equally lower prices elsewhere. they seem to be using the "no matches" policy far more than they used to... -

so even though both of those advertise their raid capabilities, i can use them as extra sata ports for my motherboard and not use the raid at all? thx rob123 -
