    Utilizing an SSD as the boot drive is superior to a mechanical/ssd combo that takes advantage of SRT. However, SRT is useful if you're on a budget and can't afford a larger SSD. Using a smaller SSD as a boot drive just isn't practical. That's where SRT comes into play.

    I use my g9x on my desk. While the residue isn't very visible to the eye, after a while I can feel it on the desk. I just use a tissue with rubbing alcohol to rub it off. The residue is from the teflon pads on the bottom of your mouse.
