AMD ending driver/game optimizations for RDNA1 and RDNA2 GPUs

There are more updates as well, seems to truly be a misunderstanding.
Yeah I listed to a new short HUB video on it this morning that amplified quite a bit. Hard to say if AMD are backstepping or clarifying, but it is nice to hear that 6000 series GPU owners should have nothing to worry about.

I can't access youtube right now, but I am sure someone will share it.

PR/marketing communication is not a strong suit for AMD, and this seems like another example of that.

Or well timed damage control. Could it also be their way of not committing to FSR 4 on older gpus?
They already said FSR4 is not coming to older GPUs, not even the 7900 XT/XTX cards. Only 9070 flavour and newer is what they said when that gen launched, much to my disappointment...

How many of you's update your gpu driver as soon as a new version comes out?
I do. Always had no issues, until the recent AMD 25.10 (I think) release. Was getting flagged by Easy Anti Cheat as a cheat file and preventing game launch. Had to roll back to 25.9. But the latest 25.12.1 has fixed the issue.

So, despite that, I am still in the camp of keep GPU drivers updated.
