This is embarrassing...It's now Monday and no medals for Canada...Tiny country like Thailand, Vietnam got at least 1 medal...Looking like every countries got medals except Canada...Even North Korea (4 medals). What's wrong with Canada athletes? Funding issues?

Well Canada not only has no medals but it had one of their own citizens expusled from China for putting his nose where it didn't belong and for lude acts !

i really haven't watched much. to busy doing other things.
pretty bad though no one has won anything yet.
though we never really do well in the summer's. winter is usually better i believe.

For Rowing the Canadian women team are OUT...the men team are in the Aug 17th final.
It's day 04 and still no medal. USA 21, China 18, South Korea 11, Italy Australia Russia 9, North Korea France 7...Even a country called Togo got 1 Bronze medal.

We're still getting personal Canadian bests, so our athletes are performing better than they have before. It's just too bad we don't have the $$ to pay for a good enough drug program to hide all the steroids the atheletes need to remain competitive in these farces. (yes, I am disenfranchised. I stopped enjoying the games after hearing of a few drug scandals.)
