I ordered some stuff from Newegg.ca (NCIX was out of stock) last night, and this afternoon, I got an e-mail and it said my order shipped from New Jersey. Do you guys know if Newegg pays the customs/duties, or do I? Quick Google search gives mixed results. Many thanks in advance.
 
Seeing as you were more then likely charged the tax on your purchase with the egg.ca you aren't hit with duties/taxes afterwards. They just only have one warehouse in Canada
 
Their shipping is also quite fast even though the stuff usually comes out of the states... Only negative is if you have it shipped Purolator ground (cheapest) they just drop the parcel off at your front door... no knock... no pickup card if you aren't home... no nothing... Box of expensive stuff just sitting there in plain view :shok: So if you live in a shaddy part of town I'd want to be home at or near the time they drop it off so it doesn't get swiped
 
Oh ohh doesn't sound very good maybe you should tell them to deliver it to my place .. you know just in case.

I think that it was shipped from there but you wouldn't have to pay it is on neweggs bill unless they stated differently which I doubt . I order from them a fair amount and never had any problems no matter where the item came from
 
i got my xigmatek elysium from from the egg, but my case actually came from jersey, was here in London in 3 days, no fees. :thumb:
