WiFi cheaper than star link. Looked interesting. As long as you have some cell service.

How could it be cheaper when you can barely find any unlimited high speed cell based plans? My unlimited data plan only have 5GB high speed per month with free roaming and it gets throttled afterwards. It's a Freedom Mobile promo plan they sold when they were new to the scene and under a previous name. So with roaming charges on top, this doesn't seem like a good idea in Canada.

My phone does not have WiFi. I am not that aware of cell plans.

Edit : Rogers is offering me 120 GB fore 55 $ a month as an offer. I don't have a rogers cell I am with Telus.

Starlink is probably the best choice if you wanted "van" Internet while roaming around Canada. I don't think any of our mobile plans are affordable for high-data consumption.

Even the "unlimited" mobile plans generally involve throttling.
