Flight sim 2024 jays two cents

Yeah it’s posted everywhere that it is a broken release. Maybe in a month…

As much as I shouldn’t be, I am surprised it was released in such broken state. The previous version went pretty well from what I recall (do I remember wrong?).

I've only ever tried the game pass Windows Store version and it was fine for me. Yes there were long download times but nothing broken in my experience. It was quite enjoyable in fact and I still debate buying it every time it goes on sale.
Surprised to see the 2024 version have so many issues.
 
I was tempted to get FS2024 but it just too arcadey for me. It doesn't seem to focus on the sim part and like J2C said, it's a game not a sim. Would probably end up getting X-Plane later with a new GPU. The only reason I haven't setup my joystick is that my desk setup isn't great. May need to get 2 joystick clamps as well now that I have a motorized standing desk. 8020 seat setup is in the future when I get my own place.
 
I'll give it a try on gamepass at some point. I'd actually be fine if MS did a 'Arcade-y' vs 'True Sim' dual-line up. 2022 Sim, 2024 Arcade, 2026 Sim, etc (though it'd make vastly more sense to have two separately named games or just break it up into quick settings at the start).

Actually, MS should just make FS very simulation heavy and make a separate competitor to Ace Combat haha.
 
If you want a flight sim try Star Citizen its free to try tomorrow fore a week . It has tons of space flight .
