I'm looking to pick up an E-Ink based E-reader for when I'm traveling. I've been eyeing the Kobo Aura, but let me know what you've got!

I had one of the Kindle paperwhites and was really happy with it. Easy to read, you could store music on it if you wanted to listen and read. Store had a good selection. I'm not sure on the Aura, but I know some of the older kobos were limited in which ebook formats you could use so it's worth checking. The amazon's will do any except the public library ebooks if I remember correctly. Mine was swipped in Europe so I haven't picked up a replacement yet.

Apparently outside of the small sony store library, the sony ones get few complaints and are apparently pretty quick

Unfortunately Sony hasn't really updated their hardware since the PRST1 over 3 years ago.
The T2 and T3 actually has less functionality if you factor in the removal of the audio port.

I'm not even sure they're going to do a T4.

That said the PRST1 was/is an excellent reader if you want a no frills reading experience.
It's a shame Sony has let this segment of their business slide; it's obvious they see eReaders as the proverbial red headed step child internally.

Edit: Sony removed the eReader section on their site last year, and it's still gone. They may not make another eReader for a long long time, if ever again.
