there is no better gaming benchmark than an actual GAME.
The old schoolers may know this, but 3dmark has it's roots in the old Demo scenes in Finland (Future Crew). It's neat seeing how these guys took a past time and turned it into a very successful software product.

Anybody read the youtube comments? They are hilarious. Guys comparing it to their consoles saying uncharted or GT5 look better lol.
I think the graphics could be better though. This should easily be able to run on my system no problem but since it is futuremark it will require 2 GTX 580's to run at medium settings.
As far as tessellation goes the heaven benchmark does a better job IMO. This is a benchmark and benchmarks should have the highest possible graphics IMO.
