I thought Steam used it's own custom Webkit based browser in everything now? IE should have no effect on it at all anymore.

And, back on topic.

Steam Summer Sale. I want it. Now. Like, right now. I have money to burn. On video games. Cheap video games.

Yup, the steam client is based on more of a chrome-like browser, I believe.

And yes, I skipped Bulletstorm from gamersgate the other day. And what are the odds portal 2 will be on sale this summer...with my luck it'll be another hour long sale and I'll be at work where I can't access the store. I need a favour from someone...

could use the steam summer sale as well, feels like a good time, have a bit of cash, few games out there I want. Bring it Valve, I'm ready.
 
Today's steam deal, Frontlines Fuel of War, is hard to reccomend, unless you have $5 burning a hole in your pocket and are really desperate for a quick weekend fix. Personally I'd grab Hydrophobia (if it's still on sale) and wait for the summer sale.
