God dammit it happened again! The GTX 590 GT7R so kindly gave me a while back died yesterday.

I am in the same boat again with no money to replace it and no way to use my desktop.

If anyone has any spare GPU's they would not mind giving away I would me more than thankful.

Thank you for reading hope to hear from you guys soon.

Can you explain the issue?

Sure when I plug it in one Gpu shows artifacts and one dose not however once booted it will just sit at a black screen.

The artifacts are a green color most likely a bad memory problem.

I can get you a screenshot tomorrow if you like?

If your popping GPU's I'd guess your PSU is killing them or you have rubbish power or your running hot.. Multiple GPU's dieing very fast one after another isn't something I'd keep feeding.

No it's not a power supply issue I think it may just be that it's an old Gpu.

I've had this HX1000w PSU for a long time and it's never done bad by me.

Cos age / never having an issue with something before is such a good measure of it's current state.. :/

Anywho, from your post it sounded like the other card died recently too instead of a year ago.
As was suggested in that thread.. have you tried baking? (After trying other troubleshooting first of course)

P.S, why can't you use your desktop? you have a 4770k... That has a reasonable GPU built in (not gonna play great in games but will do video etc no prob)

No my 560 Died a long while back and I got a 590 from a very nice user GT7R.

About a year or two later it died on me too.

I could but I need a video card for Games, Video Editing, Streaming, 3D Rendering.

It may well be I'll have to wait a year to save up for new hardware to replace it with something worthwhile.

Well I took off all the heat-sinks and back-plates cleaned it up with hot steam, let it dry for a few days and hey no more artifacts! :thumb:

I noticed some tiny bits of metal from the aluminum back-plate; that may have been what was doing it.

It also was a bit dusty in there but now it's very clean.

So right now I am running some games and Stress test like fur-mark with SLI and everything so far seem just fine.

I am glad I could get it to work again!
