I5 750 vs. Phenom II 955

is there something specifically bad about the product? (i'm not getting it but I'm still curious)

and I was also looking for a good gaming keyboard that isn't to expensive. I like the microsoft sidewinder x6 but its a tad to much for my budget.
any suggestions?

I don't think there is anything "wrong" with Fatal1ty products, but generally when compared to their vanilla equivalents you'll get the same performance for less money. On the other hand, if you're all gung ho for the red LEDs then I suppose it maybe worth it.

The only reason I got my Fatal1ty X-fi card was for the front bay support, even then I use it minimally now, blew $180 on the sound card when I should have settled for an Xtrememusic and a cheapo IR Remote. Would have pulled similar sound from it
 
With prices that close, go for the i5.

Definitely change the PSU.

As a side note, that price for the 955 seems high. Maybe they have gone up, but I know they were 189.99 at NCIX for a couple of weeks not too long ago. You could possibly get that or a better deal boxing week.
