Jack Layton dies at 61

No matter what anyone's opinion is here of Jack he affected a lot of people in a positive way....unlike pretty much all other politicians. Do you think Harper or Mayor McCheese would garner this kind of response?

See, another problem I have with the whole thing, is how people think Jack was the only 'positive' guy in the house. Frankly, his policies would have affected me in a pretty negative way. Fortunately, he had very little affect on Canada. I've met a number of MP's and candidates, and most are upbeat, outgoing, and friendly individuals. And that's when they're not campaigning, either! State Funeral material!

Guys like Paul and Steve affected me in a pretty positive way. So I guess they both deserve a state funeral too. Give one for Mulroney too! He affected quite a number of Canadians in a very positive way!
