I've recently had corsairs k90 and the V3 Pro from razer which both were fucking awful or just have the worst fucking build quality. Can someone recommend a company that does not have shit quality switches in their keyboard. Wireless is optional (before it was a must but I can settle with the compact RK wireless I have). USB passthrough is a bonus but also not required. Full/compact sized is ideal, as gaming on a super compact is too hard for some games as the positioning of some keys and lack of F keys phyiscally is too cumbersome.

Price is not an object for this.

PS. Never buy razers awful awful stuff. I humoured myself many years later and it is still utterly awful for both mice and keyboards.

I went thorugh two k90's between the 2 I had dozens of burnt out LEDs. I'm really liking the RX Scope at home but my preference is red style switches. I wanted to try optical switches and it was one of the only ones I could find at the time. They are not cherry mx compatible switches though they are something else.

I'm really satisfied with this keyboard. The number pad can go on either side or be removed for gaming if you don't need it. All the connections are magnetic and the risers are magnetic as well. Probably the best keyboard I've ever owned.

I would just DIY at those prices... It is basically PC part picker for a keyboard and I build my own PC's as is. I was referring more to pre-built models that are mainstream that have higher than average build quality.

Also not a fan of the base of the product for most of their offerings.

The everest that clshades is defineitly one worth looking at closer it has some interesting features.

Agree, left side numpad, whoda thunkit? I fumble hard reaching cross body while right hand mousing this would be amazing. Now only if I could transfer my right hand numpad muscle memory to my left hand,

In their day Beam Spring and Buckling Spring keyboards were mainstream, as well as then and now do have the build quality. :p
Can't DIY with switches you can't buy separately either. These provide lots of options but do come assembled, if that is a concern.
As far as the cases go, I am not really a fan of the Ultra Compact series as the case does not match the curvature of the keys.
I much prefer the classic style case, but I am also using an IBM Model M while I wait for my Classic F104 to ship.

As a side note: the Classic Model F all have die cast aluminum cases based on the Model M design where the original Model Ms had plastic cases.
You don't have to be excited if you don't want to, but I am excited. I always liked the Model F switches but wanted them in a Model M case with a modern layout. It is the best of both worlds for some of us. :)
